A whirlwind has just gone through our school and it's in the shape of John Hall.  Our visit from John was one of the best events ever!  Even our 6th Graders were wanting more time with him - they LOVED his books.  John's high energy was seen in every presentation from Pre-school through 6th.  You should have seen our kids eating it up!  Thank you for giving us this great opportunity to share John Hall and his wonderful books with our students.

In Mickey McGuffin's Ear you’ve provided us with a character with whom we can identify, as well as love. I cannot imagine a child or adult who could read Mickey McGuffin's Ear without chuckling right out loud. Is there any better tribute to a great story? I babysit and made the kids sit thru TWO readings of this book because I loved it so much. Not that I had to really force them, because they loved it too! This is the funniest kids' book I have read...maybe ever. The illustration of the gorilla - hilarious. A must have book!!

I read Mickey McGuffin's Ear to a third grade group today. THEY WENT BONKERS!! Absolutely loved it. I can't type fast enough to tell you. All my kids could relate to forgetting something their mom told them. They were HOOKED!! By the end they were hanging over the table to get closer looks! I read every printed word, every label. I have never seen a reaction to a book like this. Thank you so much for giving us such a delightful time. One kid said, "This is better than Dr. Suess!"
